Who We Are

Alkali Health Trust is a registered non-profit organization dedicated to reducing health inequalities and improving health outcomes in underserved communities across Nigeria.

We believe that lasting change begins with compassion, community, and consistent care. Guided by these values, we deliver community-based health programmes, raise awareness on critical health issues, and empower families with the knowledge and resources they need to lead healthier lives.

From pioneering our Sickle Cell Prophylaxis Support Programme to preparing new initiatives in diabetes prevention, heart health, and cancer awareness, our mission is clear: to give every child, family, and community the chance at a healthier future.

Alkali Health Trust is not just about charity, it is a movement of service, hope, and possibility. Together with donors, volunteers, and partners, we are proving that small acts of kindness can ripple outward into life-changing impact.

Our Work

The Vision Behind Alkali Health Trust

True leadership is service, and every act of giving leaves a ripple of change.

The creation of Alkali Health Trust is the realisation of a long-held dream. I have always carried a passion for advocacy, service, and charity, a passion that was nurtured from childhood. Growing up, my mother was my first and greatest teacher in compassion. She gave tirelessly, not just when life was abundant, but even in seasons when she herself did not have much. She showed me that there is a profound joy in caring for others, especially those less fortunate. The act of sharing, of giving from whatever you have, was not just a principle she taught, it was a way of life. Watching her live this truth left an impression that has never left me.

My father influenced me in a different, but equally powerful way. He was a giver too, though in a structured and thoughtful manner. His generosity was often quiet, even silent, but always impactful. As adults, my siblings and I would hear stories from people whose lives he had touched in ways we had never known. I found that so beautiful that real service doesn’t need to be loud to change lives. His career was itself an act of service to his people, born from a conviction that he had something to give back. Both in word and in action, my father showed me that true leadership is servitude. Between both my parents, I grew up understanding that a meaningful life is one lived in service. My siblings and I have carried that spirit of giving into our own lives, and founding Alkali Health Trust is, for me, a natural continuation of their legacy.

I have always believed in creating impact not just in small, fragmented ways, but in a structured, meaningful, and scalable way. I am, by nature, a big-picture thinker. I like to do things well, to do them right, and to do them in a way that lasts. My dream for Alkali Health Trust is to show that making a difference does not always require vast resources but that it requires vision, consistency, and heart. Small efforts, when brought together, can snowball into something far greater than we ever imagined.

This trust is therefore not just about charity; it is about possibility. It is about proving that little actions, when done with purpose, can transform communities, societies, and even nations. My hope is that Alkali Health Trust becomes bigger than I ever dreamed it could be. To become a living testament to the belief that service, no matter how small, can ripple outward and change the world.
